Oh great LJ Hive Mind...
I know what Jew, Christian, and Moslem mean. They refer to people who follow Judaism, Christianity, and Islam.

Are there similar words for people who follow other religions or ancient mythos? Egyptian or Norse mythos, in particular.

I know I heard a term for one of these last year, or maybe the year before, but for the life of me I can't find this on the internet.

...And pagan is too generic, and I don't think appropriate for the story I need this for.

Thanks for any help.

Some of the ones who claim they follow the Norse mythos call themselves Asatru.

You might check and see what the folks in Iceland who still follow the old ways think.

I think this was the term I saw, but lost.

Thank you! This is what I needed.

Actually, what I really need is a way to search the internet that lets me find things. I'm notorious for being unable to find information I need anywhere.
